History

CollegeNova is the initiative of first-generation immigrants to the United States. As parents to kids of varying ages, we, the founders, soon realized that the American educational system is like no other. If picking schools is hard, the college application process is even harder. From applying to colleges as students ourselves to guiding others into programs ideal for them, our collective experiences led us to create CollegeNova – to guide students through their college admissions journey.

Our team includes former college admission readers, who have first-hand knowledge of how applications are read and evaluated at top colleges in the country. With certifications in College Admissions and Career Planning from a top school in the US, we have the in-depth know-how and knowledge base to advise students on the basis of thorough and up-to-date information. 

Having lived in India and the Middle East, we also have first-hand knowledge of the schooling and opportunities available in these countries, and help students utilize the resources available to guide their way to their dream school in the US.  Living in California and having visited several colleges across the country, we have the experience and expertise to help US applicants get into the best colleges and make their college experience affordable.
